Former Chief Minister and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy paid tributes at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya on Friday on the death anniversary of late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was accompanied by family members, including Y.S. Vijayamma and Bharathi, offered floral tributes and remembered his father.
Important members of the YSRCP were there, including Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, and all combined in the homage as the former Chief Minister spoke about the good work done by Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Well-wishers and party chiefs paid conglomerate homage to the deceased leader in a solemn and respectful environment for the remarkable reverence and love the latter earned among people and leaders.

The late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, is remembered for his, in fact, quite effective and powerful administration, contributing immensely to the development of the state. His regime saw a lot of welfare programs and projects put in place that were intended towards the upliftment of the conditions of the people. This program at YSR Ghat was one in which party members and family remembered his work and vowed to continue the work he had started.
The meeting was attended by many senior leaders and cadres of the YSRCP, underlining the impact of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy was a sustainable one on the party and its mission. The meeting also reminded that the policies of the late leader were still prevalent and his family and followers still cherished his leadership and vision.
