Bollywood star actress Alia Bhatt is going to appear on the silver screen through her upcoming OTT series ‘Darlings’. It is all set to premiere on Netflix by skipping its theatrical release. It will mark her debut as a producer alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies. It is produced by Alia Bhatt herself, and Gaurav Varma under Red Chillies Entertainment & Eternal Sunshine Productions.
The release date of the film is yet to be announced by Netflix. The film is being touted as a dark comedy, which is a mother-daughter sentimental drama. The film is run by Jasmeet K Reen.
Shefali Shah will be seen as Alia Bhatt’s mother, and the director has framed it as a decent sentimental flick with emotions as well. Vishal Bharadwaj has handled its music responsibilities. Soon, Netflix will reveal the release date of the film. We have to wait until then.
