Young hero Sree Vishnu came up with Alluri movie, a police action drama this week. Every hero dreams of making a police movie in his career and Sree Vishnu is also said to have chosen this movie with that motive. Also it seems, he wanted to go a step further in his career and tried a mass role. He has joined hands with director Pradeep Varma and senior producer Bekkem Venugopal for his mass attempt.
While the intention of Sree Vishnu from his career point of view might be correct, the way Alluri shaped up seems, it might not deliver what he needs. Alluri is a quintessential police action drama. Senior actors like Tanikella Bharani, Raja Ravindra, Suman, Madhusudan Rao and others acted in this movie. Khayadu Lohar is the heroine. Getting into the story and script, Alluri is a typical police drama. While it has some impressive moments, as a whole, does not contain the substance needed for a mass police film.
Especially the run time of 2 hours and 49 minutes is too long. Therefore the tempo goes down in second half. However first half is impressive. If the run time can be decreased in second half and edited to make it more intense, it might help movie.
