AP Govt made arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet on April 11

On April 11, the new cabinet of Andhra Pradesh is going to swear in, and the government has also made necessary arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony that will take place near the state Secretariat. The new cabinet was formed on the 7th of this month. On Friday, the arrangements were reassessed by the chief secretary Sameer Sharma along with senior authorities.

Sameer advised secretariats and senior police authorities to follow the Blue Book to clinch the smooth swearing-in ceremony. All the arrangements were confirmed by R.Muthyala Raju, who is the principal secretary of the CMO. In order to clear the way for VIP movement, Additional DG Ravi Shankar said the Karakatta road would be capped entry, while other vehicles would be rerouted to other ways.

As per indications from the ruling YSR Congress, the current structure of the council of ministers would be retained, with 5 deputy chief ministers in place. Each legislator relating to SC, ST, Muslim, backward caste and Kapu communities would get one DCM post. As per sources, at least 4 old ministers may be admitted to the new cabinet.
