Arya’s Haunting Debut Unveiling ‘The Village’ A Supernatural Saga of Horror and Consequences.

Inspired by the graphic horror novel of the same name by Asvin Srivatsangam, Vivek Rangachari, and Shamik Dasgupta, “The Village” promises a gripping narrative set against the haunting backdrop of Tamil Nadu’s desolate hinterlands. Produced by Studio Shakthi and helmed by Milind Rau, the series is a blend of horror, sci fi, and fantasy, challenging actor Arya in his streaming debut.

A stellar ensemble cast, including Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Aadukalam Naren, and others, joins Arya in unraveling the spine chilling tale. The plot unfolds in the village of Kattiyal, where the protagonist Gautham and his family confront an unimaginable living horror, transcending the conventional ghost story.

Arya expresses his excitement about entering the horror genre, highlighting the unique elements of “The Village.” He notes that the series goes beyond typical ghost stories, incorporating contemporary themes, sci fi nuances, and fantasy elements. Director Milind Rau’s vision is lauded for bringing depth and a powerful message on the consequences of actions driven by personal gain.

“The Village” is scheduled to exclusively stream on Prime Video across India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. The series will be presented in Tamil and dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, with English subtitles, promising a global audience a thrilling and thought provoking experience.
