Dynamic hero Vishwak Sen, who is well known for his tagline Mass Ka Dass, has now become Class Ka Das with his newly released film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam which was released today worldwide in the theaters. However, the wait is over, and let’s see how the film goes on.

Story:

Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam showcases the story of Vishwak Sen, who played Allam Arjun. He is a moneylender in Suryapet. After turning 34, he starts pestered by family and society for being unmarried. His family is in continuous search of a bride related to their caste. But unfortunately, they left out the same cast brides. As there is no other choice, Allam Arjun’s family finds a bride who is from the Godavari and she does not belong to their caste. So, Rukshar Dhillon, who played Pasupuleti Madhavi refuses Arjun. The rest of the story determines why did she refuse him? Is she getting married in the end?

Review:

Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam displays Vishwak Sen in the middle-aged character. Vishwak, as Allam Arjun, has justified his character by riping some comedy scenes and emotions, but in some cases, his look is artificial. While the director has brought Rukshar Dhillon’s character in a decent manner, which is said to be termed as the main asset of the film. On the other hand, Rithika Nayak is adequate for her part and performed her role accordingly. Coming to the story is a simple, straightforward story of the marriage of an overaged guy facing pressure from society.

The writer of this film has presented a delightful story that remains a decent execution. In spite of a predictable story, the first half contains fun moments that create interest in watching. At the time of the interval, the makers included two small twists. Concerning the movie’s direction, they make one look forward to the second half with curiosity. But the second half seems dull regarding story aspects. But some of the sequences in the film are weak and predictive.

Technical Aspects:

Jay Krish’s music has scored a big hit and it is also touted as one of the main components of the film. His music is somewhat unique and crispy. Pavi K Pavan captured the cinematography nicely and the editing done by Viplav Nyshadam is as-nice-as pie. Finally, there is nothing to point out about all the technical aspects, as they are perfect in their status.

Plus Points:

  • Vishwak Sen
  • Technical aspects
  • First half

Minus Points:

  • Second half
  • Few predictive sequences

Overall Review: Finally, Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam is worth watching as a movie that redefined the most prevalent theme of late 30s marriage these days.

Rating: 3/5
