Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer hospital was instituted by Nandamuri Balakrishna’s father in the year 2000, in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. It had been chaired by Balakrishna. It has 500 beds and all super-convenient prerequisites. The hospital was established in the reminiscence of Balayya’s mother who expired due to cancer.
Moreover, the hospital was launched with the aim of providing affordable cancer treatment, especially to the poor. Now, it is recognized as the second-best cancer hospital in India, whereas, HCG Cancer Centre which is located in Kalinga Rao Road, Bengaluru has acquired a first place in the country.
The news has been announced in Outlook Health’s Best Hospital Ranking 2022 presented by Outlook and NEB research, during the survey on the best multi-specialty hospitals in India. However, this is not new to the Basavatarakam hospital gain achievements, as it is progressively attaining fame as one of the best cancer hospitals in the country.
