One more hero from Tollywood families made his debut as hero in the form of Bellamkonda Ganesh this week. The younger son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh made his debut with Swamthimuthyam. This small movie took on big budget flicks helmed by star heroes on Dasara day. This is surely a daring step. However, the final result has been positive, with Bellamkonda Ganesh making a successful debut.
Swathimutyam locked horns with Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and Nagarjuna’s The Ghost movie. To be honest, according to the inputs from exhibitors and distributors, it is Swathimutyam which has emerged as the best among all the three movies released during Dasara. Directed by Lakshman K Krishna, this Bellamkonda Ganesh – Varsha Bollamma starrer has been winning hearts of movie goers with its clean comedy.
The best part about Bellamkonda Ganesh’s debut is, he has chosen a small budget story based movie, instead of a commercial entertainer. Though his father is a big producer, he chose another production house to make his first film. By choosing a sensible script which gave decent entertainment, Bellamkonda Ganesh has made a successful debut.
