This banking malware can snatch Google Authenticator multi factor authentication codes, which are sent to devices when someone logsin onto email or online banking services. As multi factor authentication codes can allow hackers to get easy access to users’ personal and financial information, they are getting access to Google Authenticator.The SMS call logs, key logs, notifications and Google Authenticator codes will be collected by the malware and is uploaded to the C2 server.

Hundreds of Android users were impacted by the Aberebot Android bug with similar qualities those are being possessed by the Escobar malware in 2021. Escobar is more advanced virus that effects the Android users badly.
