Sree Vishnu, who is well known for his unique selection of good content has approached again with another interesting subject with Bhala Thandanana, an action thriller. In fact, SS Rajamouli has also impressed by the film and liked it a lot. And, the lead Sree Vishnu is confident on his film to receive success. So, let’s see if their dreams come true.

Story:

Bhala Thandanana’s main plot is all about a 2000 crores hawala scam. The female lead Catherine Tresa played Sasirekha, who always does dangerous investigations and gets to know about the scam. Sree Vishnu, who played Vishnu gets involved in the 2000-crore hawala scam unknowingly because of her. The remaining story shows how Chandu solves this maze and gets out of danger.

Review:

Hero Sree Vishnu has proved his real heroism with this film, where he exhibits his complete abilities as an actor. Especially in the second half, his performance is out of the world. He surely attains the image of an action hero with this film, adding one more tag to his talent hub. While Catherine Tresa has just done justice to her character as well. Villain Garuda Ram’s performance is absolutely stunning.

The film is full of thrills and twists with high moments. The screenplay provided by the director Chaitanya Danthuluri is admirable, starting from the pre-interval to the climax. As revealed by Sree Vishnu, the climax is the highlight of the whole film which takes every viewer into great excitement. Totally, the second half of the film is much better than the first half.

Technical Aspects:

First of all, the director’s story selection is brilliant and the way he framed the movie is up to the mark. Also, he left another interesting element at the end of the film by hiding a few things, so as to keep the audience excited if there is a possibility for a sequel. Coming to the background music, Mani Sharma has delivered an extraordinary background score that is perfectly apt for certain scenes, as the film belongs to the thriller category. Suresh Ragutu has satisfied the audience with his fair cinematography, while the editing done by Marthand K Venkatesh has also brought a positive result to the film.

Plus Points:

  • Sree Vishnu’s performance
  • BGM
  • Second half
  • Climax

Minus Points:

  • Slow-paced first half
  • Less chemistry between leads

Overall Review:

In fact, the entire film is good, regarding the performances of the leads, second half, climax, background music, technical aspects, and everything. But, the film seems lack of chemistry between the lead pair of the film, and the first half is slightly dull than the second one. Overall, the director Chaitanya has exhibited his expertise through this film.

Rating : 2.75/5
