Black Day for Indian Democracy

Hyderabad, March 24: Congress party leaders and cadres across the nation have hit streets on Friday to protest against the disqualification of Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi following a Surat Court judgement. From Kashmir to Tamil Nadu and from Gujarat to Assam, Congress cadres across the length and breadth of India protested against PM Modi Sarkar, terming disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as a black day in the history of Indian Democracy.

“It is extremity unfortunate that BJP Government has disqualified Rahul Gandhi from Loksabha, following Court’s judgement. This is nothing but vendetta politics by PM Modi and marks a black day in the history of Indian democracy. When there is scope for further appealing in higher courts, how will BJP Government disqualify Rahul Gandhi immediately? Why is it in so much hurry? Why does PM Modi want to keep Rahul Gandhi away from Parliament? Why is PM Modi fearing Rahul Gandhi so much?” questioned D Sridhar Babu, Telangana Congress senior leader, protesting in Hyderabad.

D Sridhar Babu opined that BJP Sarkar has intentionally planned Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification, as Congress leader has been vocal in highlighting the corruption of PM Modi and his collusion with Adani, in Parliament.
