Telangana Former Chief Minister Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao experienced a slip and fall in his residence bathroom, leading to a left hip fracture. He was promptly admitted to Yashoda Hospital Somajiguda for comprehensive care. Medical assessments, including CT scans, revealed an intracapsular neck of femur fracture, necessitating a left hip replacement. A multi-disciplinary medical team, comprising Orthopaedic, Anaesthesia, General Medicine, and Pain Medicine experts, is diligently monitoring his condition.
The prognosis indicates a standard recovery period of six to eight weeks post the hip replacement surgery. The medical superintendent at Yashoda Hospital Somajiguda reports that Sri KCR Garu’s general condition is currently stable, and the hospital will provide periodic updates on his health.
In response to the situation, Sri KCR Garu’s son, KTR, expressed gratitude for the well-wishes and messages for his father’s speedy recovery. The Chief Minister’s scheduled hip replacement surgery aims to facilitate a comprehensive recovery, with ongoing medical attention ensuring optimal care during the healing process.
