We all know that the most anticipated mystery thriller Karthikeya 2 is all set to hit the screens on August 12th. It is a sequel to the film with the same title, which was a 2014 film. Chandoo Mondeti also directed the second part of the film.
As of now, we know that the film features Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. And now, a piece of news has been doing rounds on social media that Colours Swathi, who was the female lead in the first part of the movie, is now going to appear in its sequel as well.
The news came to light when the lead actor Nikhil was asked about Swathi, he said we have to wait until the movie hits the screens. With this, excitement has been raised among the fans and they became bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to watch the surprise on big screens.
So, it remains to see in which role Swathi is going to shine in the sequel. So far, the film enthralled the audience with its intriguing promotional content and has created good hype itself.
Kaethikeya 2 is backed by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad. Musical tunes were rendered by Kaala Bhairava. The cinematography was done by Karthik Ghattamaneni. It is going to be released in all South Indian languages. The film also features Anupam Kher, Srinivas Reddy, Harsha Chemudu, Aditya Menon, and others in significant roles.
