Indian senior most top cricketer MS Dhoni has influenced the young cricketer Hardik Pandya by providing his guidelines and techniques on playing cricket. In recent times, Hardik Pandya has revealed the lesson he has learned from him and said that has become a turning point to his cricket career.
As he guided the Gujarat Titans to the IPL title in their starting season in the past, Hardik Pandya has been in fine form. The cricket master could progress his run in the present T20I series against South Africa as his 46 runs in the 4th game at Rajkot helped India level the series.
The BCCI website shows Pandya explaining to Dinesh Karthik about the lesson he learned from Dhoni that has enhanced him as a player. He said he asked Dhoni about how he got out of stress. Pandya said that Dhoni advised him to stop thinking about individual scores and start concentrating on what the team needs.
Pandya said, “For me genuinely nothing changes because I play the situation, I play the symbol which is there on my chest. The only thing which I want to get better with time, it’s about how smooth and how frequently I can do the same thing which I did for Gujarat Titans and for India too.”
