Naga Chaitanya’s latest movie was finally released in the theatres today. It has received a mixed response from the audience woefully. Initially, getting impressed by the script, the producer Dil Raju proceeded to invest an epic amount for the movie and strongly hoped for successful outcomes.
But that doesn’t happen and the makers are in a big shock due to the film’s fiasco. And, there have been talks from netizens that Dil Raju is the reason behind the film’s shortfall. Already, Thank You was carrying low buzz during its promotions and today, its opening too has declined.
This is because the film had special premiere shows last night in Andhra Pradesh, and it has received a negative talk from there itself. So, as per the proverb, The First Impression is the Best Impression, it has been proved through this film. The negative talk has continued even after its grand theatrical release.
And the second blunder committed by Dil Raju is the ticket prices. At first, he decided to implement normal prices for the movie tickets and later, he changed his plan and hiked their prices. As a result, the audiences’ attendance at the theatres has decreased. Hence, these two defective factors have become disadvantages for the movie to prosper.
This is the first time for both Dil Raju and Naga Chaitanya to face low openings for their film. And Thank You is the perfect example for filmmakers in Tollywood about substandard promotional plans and implementing ticket price hikes.
