One of the talented directors in the South region, Shankar is currently focusing on a political thriller RC15 that features Ram Charan as the lead. The film is almost in the last leg of its shoot and a few more days are left to complete it.
Earlier, we heard that Shankar is going to make Indian 2 movie, which is the sequel to Bhaaratiyudu that features Kamal Haasan. But later, he kept the project aside, as there was no clarity on it. Now, all the issues have been resolved and he decided to run its shooting works.
So, he informed his decision to Ram Charan and said that the shootings of RC15 and Indian 2 will take place for 10 days a month respectively. As, Kamal Haasan allotted 100 days for Shankar to wrap up the shoot, he has a maximum of 3 months time to accomplish the movie.
As per initial plans, RC15 has to enter theatres during Summer next year, but it seems it won’t happen and it will be pushed to a few months back. Shankar finally assured that he would wrap up Indian 2 in hundred days and RC15 will also be completed as soon as possible to fix its release as per its initial schedule.
