On the latest ICC T20 rankings for batters, Dinesh Karthik jumped an immense 108 spots to 87th, even as the young opener Ishan KIshan stood in the top 10. Ishan Kishan was the leading run scorer with 206 runs at an average of 41, finishing the series with two half centuries against South Africa. This led him to 6th position on the latest T20 rankings for batters.
The top place still remained for the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and Ishan Kishan is the only Indian player rated inside the top 10. With jumping 3 places to 23rd following his 6 wickets during the South Africa series, Yuzvendra chahal was the greatest player on the T20 rankings for bowlers.
When it comes to bowler rankings, Josh Hazlewood remains in the top position steadily with Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan and Sri Lanka player Wanindu Hasaranga is in 6th place. In the Test all-rounders’ list, Ravindra Jadeja is in top position with 385 rating points. Shakib Al Hasan, the skipper of Bangladesh, climbed to 2nd position with 346 rating points.
The tenth position in the Test is being maintained by the former captain of India, Virat Kohli with 742 ratings in the batting chart. And, the 2nd and 3rd positions were occupied by Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah with 850 and 830 points respectively.
