After getting informed about a tragic incident that his sister passed away on Saturday, the RCB pacer Harshal Patel has run away from the IPL bio-bubble soon after RCB’s 7-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians.
He was playing for the team RCB in the IPL match against MI on Saturday when he heard about the unfortunate incident. He has been an excellent player for RCB over the previous two seasons and took 2 wickets yesterday night in the team’s 7-wicket win against Mumbai Indians. The 31-year-old has performed 8 T20Is after making his debut in RCB in 2021. RCB is going to play against CSK on Tuesday.
An IPL source said, “Unfortunately, Harshal had to leave the bio-bubble due to a death in his family. It was his sister. He did not take the team bus back to Mumbai from Pune, He will be rejoining the bubble before the next match against CSK on April 12.”
