Finally, Karthikeya 2 has hit the screens today, after a couple of delays. The makers have sacrificed the release date of the film for other films earlier. Come on, let’s see whether the film reached the expectations or not.
Story
Karthikeya 2 begins with Lord Krishna predicting the future and finding certain solutions to the problems in a special Kankanam. Nikhil, who played Karthikeya is a doctor. He goes to Dwaraka along with his mother. There, he gets involved in a mystery that is related to the special kankanam. The rest of the story determines what the special mystery is all about. How did Karthikeya solve it? Where does Anupama Parameswaran feature in this setup?
Review
Karthikeya 2 is too unique from the original story. The whole story is an interesting thriller that connects the past and present worlds in a well-framed manner. The movie gives full suspense and thrills throughout it and ties them to their seats till its end. Nikhil has executed a solid performance and Anupama Parameswaran too.
The director Chandoo Mondeti not only filled the film with thrilling elements, but he added funny sequences also, which were perfectly done by Srinivasa Reddy and Viva Harsha. Anupam Kher gets a meaty role and he performed it excellently. The most interesting part in Karthikeya 2 is the audience’s feeling anxious to watch the coming sequences all over.
But there is a small confusing aspect regarding the concept of Lord Krishna and how the present generation is after a special kankanam. It is not clear and is tricky to catch.
Technical Aspects
All the production values of the film are undoubtedly splendid, especially cranking the camera, done by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The dialogues delivered by Nikhil and Anupam Kher are powerful and influential. The quality of VFX is extraordinary, costume designs are well equipped. The music and BGM given by Kaala Bhairava are the central highlights that have taken the film to next level.
Chandoo Mondeti has done double when compared to the first part of the movie. And so, the second installment has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster forever.
