In the past 24 hours, India recorded 1,569 new Covid cases, along with 19 deaths. According to the Union Health Ministry, the country witnessed a total of 2,467 discharges in the last 24 hours, taking the total recovery rate to around 98.75%, and total recovery data reached 4,25,84,710. And, the total active cases in India have declined to 16,400.
Also, a decrease of 917 cases has been registered in the active Covid-19 caseload within 24 hours. The active cases include 0.04% of the total infections. At present, the total death toll represents 5,24,260. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.44%.
On Monday, Delhi reported 377 new Covid cases and one fatality case. With this, the positivity rate stands at 3.37%. On Sunday, the city reported 613 positive cases and 3 deaths. Anyway, health experts are saying that there is no need to worry about Covid in the upcoming days, as it has weakened with immunity levels in an individual’s body, raised by Covid vaccines.
Even though the Coronavirus is a rapidly spreading pandemic, there are no harm humans to be scared of it. The only measures we have to follow to get rid of the virus infection are regular implementation of wearing masks in public places, washing hands with soaps thoroughly, and maintaining social distance when you are in crowds.
