Sashi Kiran Tikka’s directorial Major is a super hit biographical drama, which is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was killed during Mumbai attacks in 2008. Saiee Manjrekar is the female lead and Sobhita Dhulipala, Revathi Nair, Murali Sharma, Praksh Raj and others played titular roles. At the end of its theatrical run, the film’s box office shows a collection of Rs 32.62 crores at the worldwide box office and remained as a double blockbuster.
