The biographical action drama Major, starring Adivi Sesh in the lead role, hit the screens on the 3rd of June. It depicts the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is showing its rampage at the box office. The collections are increasing day by day, and the second-day collections at the theatres were sold like hot cakes.
Along with Telugu, the film was also released in the Hindi language as well. But the talk is not the same as the Telugu version, as its outcome is not satisfactory. Hindi Major earned a net collection of 2.61 crores in the first two days from its release. The audience wasn’t impressed by the film.
As stated by some trade analysts, many Hindi films and web series were already released during the 26/11 event, and due to that, Major lost its uniqueness in the Hindi belt. Moreover, Adivi Sesh is the new face of the Hindi audience, and it might also be the reason for diminishing collections.
But in Telugu, the film is super successful and it can definitely achieve records at the box office. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and backed by Mahesh Babu, Sharat Chandra, and Anurag Reddy.
