Story :
The story depicts the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan from his childhood. Adivi Sesh plays Major Sandeep and Saiee Manjrekar plays his better half. The film shows how Sandeep Unnikrishnan has a fascination for the uniform, joins the army, gets a call to save civilians during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, and how he sacrifices his life and makes his country proud.
Review :
The story and screenplay which was done by Adivi Sesh himself are perfect manners. His emotions are quite good and he scores the best talk in the public. Major is Adivi Sesh’s best movie in his career. He nailed the character of Major Unnikrishnan as a carbon copy. This is the first time Sesh has done such huge action blocks and his body language is the perfect example of his style.
On the other hand, Saiee Manjrekar also executed her performance beautifully on screen with her exceptional talent. Prakash Raj and Revathi, as the parents of Adivi Sesh have brought the film into the depth of an emotional content. Sobhita Dhulipala has done a good job in the climax, and overall, the film has gained an extraordinary response.
Technical Aspects :
Coming to the technical aspects, the production design and sets erected to showcase the Taj hotel is out of the world. Music given by Sricharan Pakala is excellent. Cinematography and visuals are in a solid manner. To describe the director Sashi Kiran Tikka, he has projected the film with a meaningful emotions and he showed what happened in the 26/11 attacks elaborately. His narration is the best part of the film as well.
Plus Points
*Adivi Sesh’s performance
*story & screenplay
*Technical aspects
*Climax
Minus Points
*Slightly slow-paced
*A few predictable scenes
Overall Review :
There is nothing more to describe the film, but the first 15 minutes of the film moves at a slow-pace. And the background music is somewhat clumsy to listen to it. Dialogues are especially good and the overall review of the film is outstanding.
Rating : 3.25/5
