Telangana Power Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy came up with first-of-its-kind challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Alleging that Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has shifted to BJP for Rs 18000 Cr contracts, he challenged PM Modi that if Union Govt gives the same amount to Munugode constituency people, TRS (BRS) party will withdraw from bye election.
“Everyone knows why Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy shifted to BJP from Congress. BJP has given Rs 18000 Cr contract to Rajagopal Reddy to change party. Both BJP top leadership and Rajagopal Reddy have been completely corrupted and insulting democracy and people. If BJP really has love towards Telangana and people of Munugode, instead of giving Rs 18000 Cr to one single person Rajagopal Reddy, it should give the same money to Munugode constituency. If PM Modi does this, then TRS will withdraw from Munugode bye polls,” challenged Jagadishwar Reddy, campaigning in Munugode constituency on Monday.
Minister Jagadeeshwar Reddy is leading TRS campaign in Munugode bye election as he hails from undivided Nalgonda district. Munugode TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy was by Minister’s side, when he challenged PM Modi.
