The trailer for ‘Adipurush’ was released on Tuesday. While T-Series, director Om Raut and UV Creations have direct financial stakes involved, there is someone who is closely tracking how well the trailer is doing digitally.
We are talking about Nag Ashwin. In an interview in 2021, Ashwin said that ‘Project K’ will benefit if ‘Adipurush’ becomes a big hit in rural North India. ‘Project K’ has got sci-fi elements. It is not usually the genre that can be expected to have deep penetration in rural areas. Therefore, the ‘Mahanati’ director is hoping that ‘Adipurush’ will lay the groundwork by making Prabhas ever more popular in rural areas in States like UP, MP and Bihar. If ‘Adipurush’ gives Prabhas a higher status, ‘Project K’ will receive bumper openings in Hindi.
‘Adipurush’ will be released in theatres on June 16. Vyjayanthi Movies will watch its BO numbers closely.
