In recent times, it has irritated some sections of netizens with the derogatory depiction of Hindu gods in its upcoming web series titled Record of Ragnarok 2. They released the trailer recently, which showcased weird portrayals of Lord Shiva and Buddha in an offensive manner.
After watching the trailer, one of the netizens commented, “It is not right to mess with the visual presentation of Hindu gods which can draw flak from the Indian audience. They take things like this seriously. Time for Netflix to deal with sensitive issues like these with great care.”
It is now up to Netflix’s reaction on such comments on social media, whether the controversy will progress or Netflix manages to prosper in proper aspects further, accepting the principles.
