NTR’s upcoming film, “Devara,” directed by Koratala Siva, has stirred excitement among fans, especially with the announcement of its OTT streaming partner. Set to hit cinemas on April 5, 2024, after the global success of “RRR,” the film has Netflix on board as its digital streaming partner, a deal disclosed by producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for “Devara” in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The strategic decision to release on OTT platforms post 8 weeks after its theatrical debut reflects the film’s widespread appeal. Given its pan-India presence, the OTT release is delayed until after 4 weeks, heightening the anticipation among viewers.
Starring Janhvi Kapoor as NTR’s love interest and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, “Devara” promises a compelling narrative. NTR’s portrayal of a dual role, encompassing both father and son characters, adds an intriguing dimension to the film. Anirudh’s musical prowess further elevates the excitement, with fans eagerly awaiting the film’s songs and background score.
Jointly produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, “Devara” signifies a collaboration that aims to deliver a cinematic experience transcending linguistic boundaries. As the film gears up for its release, the partnership with Netflix and its multi-language availability positions “Devara” as a highly anticipated cinematic event in the coming year.
