Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s multi-starrer Bheemla Nayak finally hit the theatres on February 25 and has become a crowd-puller countrywide. The summary of the film shows the things that alter when the egos of a virtuous police officer and a retired army havildar come to blows. The screenplay of the film was penned by Trivikram Srinivas, directed by Sagar K Chandra.
The director had framed the Telugu film from the original ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’, A Malayalam version. But, Trivikram Srinivas has brought few changes from the original in the view of providing extra dose of entertainment for the audience. Nithya Menon and Samyuktha Menon are the leading ladies of the film, opposite to Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati respectively. The film was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. The entire background music was scored by S Thaman, Prasad Murella holded the responsibilities of cinematogrphy. And editing done by Naveen Nooli.
Story :
Rana who played as Daniel Shekhar is a retired havildar from the Indian army. One day, he is going to meet his friend by carrying liquor. Since he was walking through a prohibited area, holding liquor, the police and excise department witnessed and caught him immediately. In an instance, Danny aliaz Daniel Shekhar tries to abscond the charges using money and influence, then Pawan Kalyan who played in and as Bheemla Nayak has filed his arrest. Pawan Kalyan as a police officer who is well known for his justice righteousness.
This confrontation has raised ego of Danny and resulted in his brutal views to take revenge against Bheemla Nayak. This is the storyline that displays the antagonism between Bheemla Nayak and Danny.
Review :
Bheemla Nayak is a perfect mass thriller drama that shows Pawan kalyan’s dexterity, irony and mass dialogue rendition at his best. On the flipside, the antagonist Rana Daggubati had also given a tough fight from his side. The leading ladies Nithya Menon and Samyuktha Menon look decently as the wives of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati respectively. Coming to the background score rendered by S Thaman, is absolutely peerless according to the action sequences.
Highlights
Mainly, the second half of the film has gained more attention by causing thrill to the audience, whereas, the first half of the film went slightly slow-paced. But, the overall formulation of the film is splendid.
