Firebrand BJP leader and MLA Raja Singh is right now in jail. He has been arrested for making controversial comments and Telangana police booked him under PD Act. With the controversial leader in jail, Raja Singh’s wife Usha Bai has got into the scene and has been fighting to save her husband. After Raja Singh made controversial comments on prophet Muhammad, BJP party suspended him from the party. BJP disciplinary committee has issued a show cause notice to Raja Singh asking him to give a reply within 10 days.
The deadline kept for Raja Singh to give explanation to show cause notice is ending on September 2. Now Raja Singh’s wife Usha Bai has come into the picture, as the deadline is ending on Friday. She said that as Raja Singh is in jail, he could not give a reply. She urged BJP High Command to give more time for giving a reply to the show cause notice issued by the Disciplinary Committee.
Though Raja Singh is a firebrand leader and known all over India, his wife Usha Bai stays away from limelight and is not known outside Gosha Mahal. For the first time her name came out in this incident. If Raja Singh’s jail stay continues, his wife Usha Bai may play more proactive role in the coming days.
