Whether it is a delay in the production or the Covid pandemic, Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming action-drama Virata Parvam has been delayed multiple times. It is also one of the much-awaited films these days. This is a high-voltage immense action-drama with a social message.
In the earlier weeks, we heard that the film will occupy theaters on July 1st. But as per the recent reports, the team has again rescheduled the film’s release to June 17th, i.e., exactly 2 weeks before its earlier date. The official announcement will be made by the team soon.
The film is directed by Venu Udugula and jointly bankrolled by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The period drama is set in the 1990s against the backdrop of Naxalism. Rana essays the character of Comrade Ravanna, and Sai Pallavi will be seen as Vennela. The film showcases the love story between the leads, and it is inspired by true events.
The film has Priyamani, Eshwari Rao, Anand Chakrapani, Nandita Das, Sai Chand, Naveen Chandra, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Zareena Wahab in the supporting roles. It has Suresh Bobbili’s music, and Kolo Kolamma’s song has already created a sensation in the public.
