Reliance Jio is likely to roll out 5G services on Independence day

The most popular Telecom service Reliance Jio is most likely to launch its 5G services on the 15th of August for millions of smartphone and internet users. The chairman of the company, Akash Ambani said that they will celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with a pan-India 5G launch.

After becoming the leader in the 5G spectrum auction, Akash said, “Jio has decided to offer world-class, inexpensive 5G and 5G-enabled services. We will provide services, platforms, and solutions that will speed up the digital revolution of India, particularly in important sectors like agriculture, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and e-governance.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared his view of building a new Aatmanirbhar Bharat by the end of this year, with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which refers to the celebration of the 75th year of India’s independence.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was launched on March 12, 2021, which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end on August 15, a day when the pan-India 5G rollout can be announced.

As stated by the Nomura report, the 700 MHz bands could potentially give Reliance Jio an edge regarding network quality, particularly indoors, and this could increase investors’ concerns about further spectrum outgo for Bharti if R-Jio were capable to provide significant differentiation in network quality with 5G on 700 bands.
