As we all are much awaiting Rajamouli’s masterpiece RRR, finally the makers had locked March 25 as it’s release date after plenty of postponements ascribed to the Covid pandemic.
Now, if we review the fixed schedule of IPL 2022, the biggest tournament is going to being from March 26, i.e., within just 1 day from the release of RRR. From this, we can say that definitely there will be an immense competition between them to gain maximum attention of the audience.
When it comes to RRR, the film has already achieved a high standard impression, but still there are some speculations that IPL may play havoc with the box office collections of the film, especially during the match timings, as the IPL tournament this year is coming with a speciality of consisting 10 teams that was like never before, and that automatically grabs maximum attention of the viewers.
Moreover, the first two days of IPL tournament will be crucial, as 3 matches of the league are going to be held in the span of a couple of days.
On the other hand, Rajamouli’s zealots are in full confidence that RRR will surely become a crowd-puller at the box office, just like his previous gigantic flick Baahubali 2. So, RRR has to compete with IPL to hold the inquisitiveness of the audience without their divergence.
