Samsung announces $356 billion investment with 80,000 new jobs

Today, Samsung Group has announced an immense $356 billion investment blueprint for the following 5 years targeting to make it a frontrunner in an expanded range of sectors from semiconductors to biologics. The new number is a hike of more than a third over its previous plan that was set out in 2021.

The tech giant is the monstrous grouping of South Korea and its universal turnover is identical to a fifth of the national GDP. The world’s largest smartphone maker is Samsung Electronics, its flagship Subsidiary.

Samsung stated that the investment plan would bring long-term growth in strategic businesses and help reinforce the global industrial ecosystem of fundamental technology. Including semiconductors and biopharmaceuticals, eighty thousand new jobs would be created firstly in core businesses. As per the 3-nanometer method, the investment would bring forward the mass production of chips. 

The company will also invest luxuriously in biopharmaceuticals with its linked Samsung Biologics and Samsung Bioepis in the field. Within the United States, Samsung employs about twenty thousand people and work is in progress to build a new semiconductor plant in Texas.
