Stone pelting on CM’s house, accused arrested

Police arrested the person who pelted stones on the residence of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The police identified the person as Sathyamurthy of Hootagalli in Mysuru and sent him to judicial remand, after arresting him in Mysuru.

The incident of stone pelting happened on Tuesday. Sathyamurthy came on a bike and threw stones on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s residence on Paduvana Road in Tiki Layout. He stopped the bike in front of the house and started pelting stones. While pelting stones, he hurled abuses at the CM. The window panes of the house were broken due to the stones thrown by him. Alarmed by the incident, security personnel tried to arrest him but he escaped on the bike from the spot.

He even challenged the police to catch him. He even tried to attack a police officer when the police tried to intercept him on the way.
