Summer rains coming to hit Telangana, IMD cautioned with yellow alert

According to weather reports of Telangana, it has been announced that the entire state may witness sudden rains this Summer season. The Indian Meteorological Department has assured that rains hit the state till Wednesday, beginning from Monday with a trough from Marathwada to north interior Tamil Nadu across Interior Karnataka stretching up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.

Today, IMD-Hyderabad has publicized a yellow alert for seventeen districts such as Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem,  Medak, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, and Suryapet.

Indian Meteorological Department stated that the city may witness a cloudy sky within 48 hours. Thunder clouds seem to appear in the evening and night times. Surface winds are likely to be Southwesterlies with wind speeds around 6-10 km/hr. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 39-25 degrees celsius.

The government is also gearing up to implement necessary precautions in order to get rid of alarming situations that occur.
