For ‘Liger’, Puri Connects worked closely with Dharma Productions. The working relationship seems to have impacted Puri Jagannadh in some positive ways. In Bollywood, the release dates of movies are announced much in advance. Even before a big-ticket project goes on the floors, the release date is known.
For ‘Double iSmart’, which is a pan-India sequel to ‘iSmart Shankar’, Puri is planning in a similar way. He has locked its release date even before the commencement of the shoot. The Ram Pothineni-starrer will be released in theatres on March 8 next year.
Puri is also in admiration of how distributors behave in Bollywood. He once praised Amit Thadani, one of the distributors of ‘Liger’.
‘Double iSmart’ will go on the floors later this year.
