The White House announced today that the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris has been infected with Coronavirus on Tuesday on both rapid and RT-PCR tests. But she has no symptoms and currently is in isolation at her dwelling place.
She will continue her work from her residence until her recuperation from the virus. It has been in the news that neither president Joe Biden nor first lady Jill Biden was considered a close contact of Kamala in recent days due to their respective travel schedules.
Weeks before visiting an office, she was administered the first dose of the Moderna Covid vaccine and also the second dose just days after Inauguration Day last year. Even she received a precaution dose in October last year and on April 1, she was administered an additional precaution dose.
