Vijay Thalapathy is engaged with his upcoming project, tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy66’ in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. The makers have already commenced their shoot in Hyderabad, and it has completed almost half of the schedule.
Today, the film unit has planned a special shoot in Chennai. And they have decided to unveil the first look poster of the film on the 22nd of this month, on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday.
Fans are excited to witness Vijay’s avatar from Thalapathy66. Rashmika Mandanna is the love interest of Vijay Thalapathy in the film. This is their first collaboration on-screen. Mehreen Pirzada will also be seen alongside the pair. The title for this film will also be fixed soon.
Thalapathy66 is a powerful social drama that has a huge cast. The film is being bankrolled by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Thaman is crooning the music tracks.
The film also has Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish, and others as the supporting characters. Karthik Palani is handling cinematography work and editing is being done by Praveen KL. The film is planned to release in theaters by coming Pongal.
