Virata Parvam is one of the most anticipated films since pandemic. Finally, it reached the theatres worldwide today. It stars Rana and Sai Pallavi in the main roles.

Story :

The entire story is set in the late 70s in Telangana when the Naxal movement was at its peak. Sai Pallavi, who played as Vennela belongs to a lower caste and is extensively impressed by the revolutionary poetry penned by a notorious Naxalite Rana Daggubati, who played as Ravanna. Sai Pallavi falls in love with him and leaves her home, and starts her journey to find Rana. At sometime in her way, she crosses paths with Ravanna. The rest of the story justifies the questions, will Ravanna accept her love? What problems did Vennela face in her journey? and what happened to her in the end.

Review :

The content chosen by the director Venu Udugula is highly appreciable. The main highlight of the film is the decent love track between the leads, even though the film is entirely based on a Naxal backdrop. The male lead Rana has delivered his performance with a high-spirit. His role in the first half seems rare. But in the second half, his presence on screen is mind blowing.

Whereas, the lady Super star Sai Pallavi is exceptionally good in her looks and heartfelt feelings. The way she brings out her love for Ravanna, fights for her cause and displays the emotional turn. Her performance proved Victory Venkatesh’s words at the film’s pre-release event. He said Sai Pallavi will definitely win an Award for her acting in this film. But there are also some negative points in the film. There is no entertainment in the film, since its beginning. The entire film is completely dragged with the Naxalite sequences. Sai Pallavi and Rana’s sizzling chemistry is good and decent, but there might be some romantic scenes included, for which the audience get attracted. And when it comes to climax, there should be more alluring aspects, as it looks dull.

Technical Aspects :

Firstly, Suresh Bobbili’s music is top notch. The whole film is high on technical aspects. Cinematography is amazing. The film showcases an extraordinary period backdrop, forest visuals, action blocks and many. Execution of production design is perfectly alright. Venu Udugula has tried all his best, and the scope is at a high-level. All the cast is perfectly set and well suited for the content.

Plus Points :

*Movie content

*Leads performances

*Love story in a Naxal backdrop

*Technical aspects

Minus Points :

*Romanticless

*Climax

Overall Review :

The overall review of this revolutionary drama is exceptionally good. The film’s serious genre dominates the love track between the leads. But their performances undoubtedly made the film to achieve the expectations.

Rating : 3/5
