Billionaire CEO Sridhar Vembu straightens up with the sagacity of blowing out the image of traditional office spaces. The traditional office spaces have recently been under inspection for not being able to promote a healthy environment and due to this, multiple consortiums are making vital refinements to their offices.
Sridhar Vembu has exactly set an exemplary if a universal workplace by opting for restrained and austere design and architecture. He did not disclose the address of his new office, he announced through his tweet which reads, “New conference room and small offices, built with mud and straw and limestone cover, upstairs covered by thatched palm leaf. Comfortable even on a hot day. I love it so much I have made it my office!”
His office is one of the thirty similar offices run by the company in tier-2 towns. Sridhar said that the idea of rural offices was necessary for Zoho and that it would need technology chiefs within the firm to commit to the idea and relocate to work at these offices. About 15 engineers were working at the research and development office in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Also, Sridhar shared some details from the office.
The product manager of Zoho Corp said, “The office can provide accommodation to 30 people. At present, 18 employees are working here with most of them belonging to Zoho Analytics the firm’s cloud-based business intelligence and analytics platform.” Zoho is looking to open at least 10 offices that can accommodate 500-1000 people in tier -2 or tier-3 cities and towns this year, according to the reports.
