The trailer for ‘Adipurush’ is a thorough disappointment when you look at how Prabhas has been projected. Director Om Raut has portrayed Lord Ram as a calm, self-absorbed and cool-headed king, but the same doesn’t come through Prabhas’ demeanour.
At least in the trailer, the ‘Salaar’ actor is a disappointment. We might see a different Prabhas on the big screen. For that, though, we must be ultra-optimistic. And we need to wait till June 16.
Prabhas’ fans are sure to show their anger if their favourite actor doesn’t mouth memorable lines in the film. In the trailer, there is nothing spectacular about the dialogue.
‘Adipurush’ has got hundreds of crores riding on it. Everything rests on Prabhas’ ability to convince us through his role.
