AP Health Minister launches cancer screening kits in Vizag

The first set of cancer screening kits was launched by the state Health and Family Welfare Minister Vidadala Rajini in Vizag on July 29th. She said this would help the government and patients to effectively screen for cancer without delay. She also said that the government would develop hospitals under the Nadu-Nedu scheme, like schools.

She took part in several programs including the launch of the National Cancer Grid at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Care Hospital and Research Center in Aganampudi.

Later, she visited the Aganampudi Area Hospital and talked to the mothers who were going home with their babies in the Thalli-Bidda express, a special ambulance provided by the state directorate.

She claimed that necessary steps will be implemented by the government to increase the hospital’s bed strength from 30 to 100. Later, she visited the Bhimili assembly segment and launched the area hospitals at several locations including Yendada.
