Now, it is planning to make arrangements for the women’s league, and the BCCI seems to reveal the details about the tournament in the next year. The BCCI has been uncertain whether to conduct women’s IPL for years. And now, the issue has come to a closure.
According to the sources, women’s IPL is most likely to commence from 2023. The BCCI is in plans to set a number of teams and what window is going to suit as there is a men’s IPL also.
Sources also say that the BCCI team is in great excitement to host the women’s IPL as soon as possible, but it has decided not to disclose any detailed information on the spot, concerning the commencement of the women’s league.
Just like the men’s IPL, women’s IPL will also be elected with auction procedure by setting up 6 teams. The official channel will announce more details shortly.
