The Kashmir Files is a Bollywood film that received appreciation from PM Narendra Modi.
During a dissent against Mr. Kejriwal’s discerns on the film, BJP workers came to blows with the police outside Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal’s abode. The leaders of the ruling party have accused Mr. Kejriwal of making sport of the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus displayed in the movie.
After the attack, the senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party Manish Sisodia said, “The BJP wants to kill Mr Kejriwal because they are not able to defeat him electorally. Politics is just an excuse and this is a clear criminal case.”
He said that BJP mobsters arrived at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s dwelling place in the presence of the police. They are not capable of defeating him in elections, so they want to kill him. By permitting BJP leaders and workers to reach the chief minister’s residence, several senior leaders of AAP have accused the Delhi police of promoting destruction and brutality.
The police said that they immediately removed them from the spot and retarded around 70 people. Around 150-200 protestors of BJP Yuva Morcha reached the CM’s house at around 11.30 am. Some protestors forced themselves through two barricades and arrived at CM’s house and created affray and shouted protestation.
Aravind Kejriwal had quipped that it should be put up on the free video-sharing platform YouTube by reacting to Delhi BJP legislators’ demand to declare the movie The Kashmir Files tax-free in Delhi. Laughing and making sport of the film, Mr. Kejriwal said to put the film on YouTube for free watch. Mr. Sisodia fired at Kejriwal saying, “Why are you asking us to make it tax-free. If you are so keen, ask Vivek Agnihotri to put it on YouTube, it will all be free. Everyone can see it in a day. Where is the requirement to make it tax-free.”
