The war between BRS Government and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has gone to new heights, with the lady Governor rejecting the nomination of two BRS leaders for MLC posts under Governor quota. Tamilasai has rejected the nomination of Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana for MLC posts, saying that they are not eligible to be nominated under Governor quota. This decision by Tamilisai has left BRS leaders fuming.
Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan reasoned that both Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana are full time politicians and do not have any special achievements in the fields of literature, art, social service, cooperative movement. While it has turned into a debate whether Tamilisai Soundarajan is right or wrong in rejecting the nomination of two leaders, sent by Telangana cabinet, KCR Sarkar and BRS party seem to be clearly miffed over the development.
BRS MLC and senior leader Kalvakuntla Kavita questioned, “Whether BJP Constitution is being implemented in Telangana?” hinting that the BJP Government at Centre is meddling in affairs of Telangana state, through Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan. Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy, Niranjan Reddy and others also expressed disappointment over Governor Tamilisai’s acts.
