Assembly elections in Telangana are nearing and all the political parties are busy preparing for the big polls, which will decide the destiny of Telangana for the next five years. Ruling Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) has already announced its candidates and made the first movie. Now Opposition Congress is also taking steps to announce the first list of its candidates.
Indian National Congress has received applications from aspirants and its main leaders are lobbying hard to get tickets for their followers. There is heavy competition for Congress tickets, as in many constituencies, atleast two to three strong leaders are trying for to get Congress nomination.
While it is going to be a tough job for both TPCC and AICC to chose one and pacify other ticket aspirants, it is said that Congress top leadership has decided to prepare a first list with atleast 30 candidates. Congress top bosses want to zero in on constituencies where prominent and powerful leaders are either already MLAs or incharges and announce a first list with them by Dasara festival.
