After several deliberations and closed door meetings, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramiah has finally finalised the portfolios for his cabinet ministers. While CM kept Finance portfolio with himself, deputy CM DK Shiva Kumar has got the important portfolios of Bangalore City Development and Major Irrigation.
Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge’s son Priyank Kharge got Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Ministry. Senior leader G Parameshwara will serve as the Home Minister. Another senior leader MB Patil will be the Minister for Large and Medium Industries. Dinesh Gundu Rao got Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
The lone woman Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar got Women and Child Development Ministry. Interestingly CM Siddaramaiah did not allot IT Ministry to anyone.
