The controversy over Sengol is appearing to be not dying any soon. With both BJP and Congress contradicting each other with new piece of historical information with each passing day, the issue is only getting bigger.
However Union Minister of Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy said that the controversy on Sengol is baseless and alleged that Congress is trying to unnecessarily make an issue out of it. He slammed Congress and Opposition parties for trying to create controversy over Sengol, which had historical and cultural significance.
Kishan Reddy, who is the Minister for Culture, said that Congress and Opposition parties are using Sengol issue, unable to digest the fact that the new Parliament has been constructed by BJP Government under PM Narendra Modi’s tenure.
