The YSRC president and the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have appointed party district unit presidents and regional coordinators after the termination of the cabinet reformation and creation of new districts that took place in the last week. As the chief minister keeps his focus on vitalizing the party in all 26 new districts to form the cadres for the 2024 elections, many ex-ministers who were relinquished in the recent cabinet reformation have been appointed to these posts.
The chief minister has reviewed the names of district unit presidents for the past few days and confirmed the names with former ministers and veteran leaders. For 3 districts of Bapatla, Nellore, and Prakasam, the ex-minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy who was disgruntled after being relinquished from the cabinet, has been appointed as the regional coordinator. While for YSR Kadapa and Tirupati districts, the former minister P.Anil Kumar Yadav has been appointed as RC.
When coming to Guntur and Palnadu districts, the Regional Coordinator is Kodali Nani. In the past, Jagan has assured Marri Rajasekhar Reddy to render him an MLC seat, but it didn’t happen. As a result, he appointed Rajasekhar as a Regional Coordinator for Krishna and NTR districts. Y.V.Subba Reddy has achieved his dream to re-enter active politics by becoming an RC for Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, and Alluri Seethrama Raju districts.
While Parvathipuram Manyam, Srikakulam, and Vizianagaram districts have Botsa Satyanarayana as the Regional Coordinator. P.V.Mithun Reddy and Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose were appointed as RCs to Eluru, West Godavari, Kakinada, Konaseema, and East Godavari districts. While Kurnool and Nandyal districts are having Buggana Rajendranath and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy as the Regional Coordinators. Ramakrishna Reddy has also been appointed as coordinator to all RCs and YSRC presidents of all 26 districts.
YSRCP general secretary and MP V.Vijayasai Reddy will extend his services as incharge of YSRC associate organizations. Also, the chief minister appointed YSRC presidents for all 26 districts. The former Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has been appointed as the president of YSRC for the Guntur district. While Krishna district will be headed by Perni Nani.
