Out of the 5 states, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been occupied 4 states Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand. And, Punjab sovereignty has been captivated by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). BJP has again acquired Uttar Pradesh with an astounding 270 mark. While in Uttarakhand, BJP defeated Congress with a huge majority, in Goa, it has grabbed 20 seats, against Congress which has remained with only 11 seats. Also in Manipur, BJP occupied 32 out of 60 seats. And in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party is ready to sit on the throne by securing a majority of 92 seats.
Yogi Adityanath has again returned to his reigns and created history and is about to gear up to handle the responsibilities as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Just 2 out of the total 403 seats, the Congress party was annihilated in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. The vote share of the Congress dropped to 2.3% polled in the state. Priyanka had also taken a step to render 40% of party tickets to women in the run-up of the polls, with the party putting up 159 women out of its total 403 aspirants in the polls.
In Goa, BJP crossed the landslide mark in the assistance of 3 independent candidates and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, that provided its aid to the BJP in tha face of a pre-poll confederation with TMC.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude towards the voters for their endorsement, by supporting BJP in Uttar Pradesh and three other states. He named it as a ‘festival of democracy’. He has given a statement that the colourful festival of Holi has commenced with BJP’s victory in the assembly polls.
